Infomedia: when an economic news agency becomes a digital media ...

Founded in 1988, the Infomedia news agency was originally specialised in selling economic content to the national and regional press. Bought by 2 former journalists in 2007, the pair decided to take advantage of the company’s vast information archive to create a new digital media dedicated to personal finance. Boosted by their previous writing expertise, their goal was simple: to establish a vertical media platform addressing money related topics with targeted market positioning and high quality content that was to be accessible across all modern media platforms.

2 years later in January 2010, the network was launched under the umbrella with 10 specialised sites and a further 2 sites have been added recently. Supplementing their presence on the Web, the team has also launched its own mobile app – Mes Finances – and its own digital magazine: Les Mag Mes Finances (in 2 versions: BtoB and BtoC) – both dedicated to personal finance. Finally, to meet the growing appetite of its users, the company launched its own on-line video stream via the YouTube Mes Finances channel at the start of 2013.

The fully integrated multimedia content is updated on a daily basis with a wide range of information dedicated to your personal finance. The ToutSurMesFinances journalist team is also out on the road attending conferences and meeting industry experts to provide the latest on recent news and events. The team can also count upon an extensive expert network to consult with and verify figures and technical elements of its content. The company has formed a number of partnerships with institutional players (DGFIP, the Paris Notary Chamber, Retirement Experts, CGPI amongst others) and we regularly ask them to provide answers to queries put forward by our users.
